This qualification will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to work in the building and construction concreting industry as a solid plasterer. You will learn to finish walls, floors and ceilings in gypsum and Portland cement plasters, and construct various mouldings, textured finishes and ornamental restoration work.
Admission Requirements
To gain admission to this qualification you need to meet the minimum entry requirement equivalent to Australian Year 10 with a pass in Mathematics. Refer to the admission requirements for your country.

On completion of this qualification, you can continue into Certificate IV and the Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) at either Polytechnic West or West Coast Institute of Training. Please note that the Certificate IV and Diploma are not offered at Challenger Institute of Technology.
