Schools - Short Term Study Programs
These programs are for students who wish to study at a Western Australian primary or secondary school for the duration of 3 – 6 months.
Program 1: One School term
Period: One school term
Please note this is for primary and secondary students only who will be staying in homestay accommodation or with a guardian for the duration of their study (Not available in Term 4 in year 11 and 12).

Enrolment procedure: Students must enrol through ETI at
Tuition fees:

Program 2: One Semester (2 School terms)
Period: One semester (2 school terms)

Tuition Fees:

Conditions for Programs 1 & 2:
- No student will be enrolled in Years 11 or 12 for Term 4.
- Students must remain enrolled in the same school for the duration of the program.
- Any travel within Western Australia or to other parts of Australia while the student is on a 571 visa will require written parental approval, outlining all details of travel including accommodation, chaperone, duration, names, ages and addresses of all group members, qualifications of chaperones, written approval from the School Guardian and have approval from the homestay family. The final decision will be made by the school and ETI will be advised. The school will provide ETI a copy of these travel plans for their records.
Tuition fees do not include school uniform, textbooks, excursions and any other specialist activities, i.e. Golf, Swimming and school ball etc.
If the child has any special educational needs additional costs may accrue but this will be ascertained after relevant Department specialist staff, undertake a needs assessment. If the child has ESL needs additional costs will accrue.
