Check the Fees & Enrolment Process that will apply

Depending on type of application (visa class of parent & dependent), different fees and enrolment processes may apply. School fees will either be international full-fees, local Australian fees or part of the full-fee rate. The application process is through ETI for full-fee enrolments (visa class 571).

Please see the Schools Enrolment Policy to determine what fees will apply and how you will need to enrol.

Find a Suitable School and Program

On this site, you can find details about our Primary and Secondary school education and the international programs and services available. International students can be enrolled at any suitable Primary school with spare capacity and at one of 23 secondary schools.

You can read more about our School programs, curriculum and services in our Schools section. School profiles of our secondary schools are also available.

Submit Application

Apply Direct or Through an Agent?

You pay the same fees to us whether you apply directly to us or through one of our overseas representatives (agents). Many parents with good English and straightforward visa processes choose to apply directly - especially as they can use this website to find all the information they need.

Other parents with more limited English or difficult visa processes choose to use Agents to assist them in preparing and submitting their study and immigration applications. If you don't already have an agent, you can find a reputable one using our Agent List.

Methods of Submitting your Application

Apply online

In addition to our online application, we accept applications by Email, Fax and Post. If you wish to apply by Email, Fax or Post you must download the  Application Form (pdf), complete it and send it back with any required supporting documents.

Terms and Conditions

All applicants (or their parents/guardians if under 18) must read and accept our full terms and conditions before submitting the application. The essentials are summarized on the application form.

Receive Offer & Conditions

Once we have received your application we will assess it and check whether places are available at the requested school. This normally takes about two weeks. If there are places a "Letter of Offer" will be sent to you. This letter will be sent to you directly or through the agent you have nominated according to your instructions on the application form.

Alternatively, we may contact you to discuss your application and school availability and preferences.

Living Arrangements & Welfare Clearances

The Australian Government requires all students who are under the age of 18 years to have appropriate arrangements made for their welfare in Australia - essentially staying with an approved family member or guardian arrangement and in appropriate accommodation.

Parents will need to advise of the living arrangements of their child and this may require relevant welfare checks and authorization (e.g. if the child will be staying with a nominated guardian and not a parent).

Meet Conditions & Make Payment

Once any conditions and welfare requirements have been satisfied you can accept the offer and make payment. You can check the applicable Full-fee rates for international enrolments here

The amount you need to pay will be on the Letter of Offer. Important instructions on making payments and payment methods can be found here

Receive Confirmation of Enrolment and Apply for Visa

We will send you a Confirmation of Enrolment letter which you will need in order to apply for the relevant visa at the Australian High Commission or Embassy in your country. You must obtain a visa in order to enter Australia.

The latest and most accurate information on obtaining student & student guardian visas can be found on the Department of Immigration's student visas site.

Obtain Visa and Come to Australia

Once you've obtained your visas you and your child are all clear to come to Western Australia in time for the beginning of your school enrolment.
