Overview

North Lake Senior Campus is a quality school providing year 11 and 12 courses to a diverse group of young adults and adults. The campus specialises in preparing students for university entrance, but also offers a range of vocational subjects. Students may choose from a smorgasbord of courses to suit their individual needs, interests and aspirations. North Lake Senior Campus offers small class sizes and a sophisticated, mature learning environment.

Vocational programs in hospitality and tourism, and design and technology courses in automotive, metals and wood fabrication have strong reputations for preparing well qualified graduates.

North Lake Senior Campus has a record of good results in both tertiary entrance and wholly school assessed subjects. Graduates equally go to universities, TAFE colleges and the work force. Many former students have won scholarships to Notre Dame University. North Lake Senior Campus has in Intensive English Centre for post compulsory students.

Special Programs

These programs are available to international fee paying students. Interested students should contact the school for information about application procedures.

> Bridging courses give students the opportunity to catch up on physics, chemistry, mathematics and English before commencing tertiary entrance courses.

> Traineeships in hospitality operations offer paid work placement as part of the full time program.

> Vocational Education and Training programs in hospitality and tourism, information technology, industrial studies, and beauty therapy enable students to gain credit for TAFE courses and to develop workplace skills.

English Support

North Lake Senior Campus has an Intensive English Centre for post compulsory students. A high level of competence in English is important for students wanting to study subjects such as history, economics and English. The English as a second language course in years 11 and 12 is suited to international students. Extra English language support is available through an Intensive English Centre in which teachers provide expert tutition to students who require English language support in preparation for university entrance programs. International students will have their English language needs met at North Lake Senior Campus.
