Overview

Mandurah Senior College enrols students between 15 and 18 years of age in post compulsory education. The college is co-located with Murdoch University (www.murdoch.edu.au) and the Challenger TAFE campus. International students who successfully complete English programs will be offered entry to Murdoch University.

All programs at Mandurah Senior College are devised to meet the individual needs of students ensuring success in achieving their goals. The college provides students with a strong academic education across a comprehensive range of subjects. Accelerated learning programs provide tertiary credits for students pursuing university entrance. Students receive up to date skills training on modern industrial standard equipment. All qualifications offered are recognised Australia wide and are highly regarded internationally. Students undertaking university entrance are encouraged to consider completing experience in the work place. This extra curricular activity provides comprehensive knowledge and insight into careers worldwide.

Special Programs

These programs are available to international fee paying students. Interested students should contact the school for information about application procedures.

> Entry to Murdoch University for nursing, business management and computer and information technology studies.

> Entry to TAFE courses such as business management, hospitality management, tourism management, engineering and automotive.

> Business management (golf major) offers certificate to diploma level business management training. Professional golf tuition and work experience within the Australian golf industry are major attractions of this program. This course offers entrance to university studies in business administration.

> Flexible on-line courses are offered in English, mathematics and information technology. International students are able to complete programs via the internet before commencing at the college.

English Support

Experienced teachers of English as a second language provide personal support for students from non-English speaking backgrounds. Intensive short courses are offered with a variety of programs available to meet the needs of all students. The college maintains intensive English programs as a priority initiative and provides dedicated infrastructure resources.
