Streamlined Visa Procedures to be Expanded to TAFE Institutes

ETI is very pleased to advise that the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Meeting in Canberra on Friday, 13th April, agreed to implement streamlined student visa procedures for "low-risk" private education providers and TAFE Institutes in the second half of 2012. The criteria to be applied to determine eligibility has yet to be announced.
This is great news for prospective students considering studying at one of Western Australia’s TAFE Institutes. ETI eagerly awaits further advice from the national government and Department of Immigration and Citizenship. Once the details are known and applicable processes determined we will notify our agents and prospective students.
