Hello, my name is Romina Napoleoni, I am from Chile, South America. I'm studying Commerce Management in Perth at Polytechnic West.

Perth is a very exciting and cosmopolitan city and you can do several activities here, for example you can go to Kings Park, Margaret River, have fun during the theatre season or just you can enjoy a great concert in the middle of the city. That’s what I did most recently!

I went to the winter music festival held only here in Perth, called On the Bright Side! This concert was allocated in central Perth next to the Swan River. I had a such a great time at On the Bright side concert, I saw some amazing Australian and international bands, like The Hives, Pulp, The Kills, The Grates and Tame Impala! All on one stage!

Everybody was singing, dancing and laughing. Some people were fanatics on certain bands and wore distinctive band merchandise, like t-shirts and hats. While I was there, I was impressed with the beautiful energy that everybody had in that moment. Also, I found that that concert was very organized; because all people who were over 18 could stay on the right side and the others who were under than 18 years old were in the left side, so with this kind of organisation, everybody could enjoy the concert at the same time.

Inside the area were several kiosks providing food and beverages because the concert was all day long. When the concert was over, I felt very happy and relaxed because the security people were guiding the entire multitude to the exit in a very organized way.

I have to say that this experience is one of the best that I have had in many years, because I could enjoy it with hundreds of Aussies and international people with just one goal in mind.. TO HAVE FUN!
