ETI Welcomes Students from Chile

Education and Training International is pleased to announce that its first group of BECAS Chile Scholarship students have arrived. The Chile Bicentennial Scholarship (BECAS Chile) is an initiative aimed at improving Chile's global competitiveness.
Under the program Australian TAFE institutes across the country are receiving government sponsored students from Chile to study carefully chosen programs that meet the skills needs of Chile.
ETI has received the largest proportion of these students who are undertaking their chosen courses at Western Australian TAFE colleges. The first group of 20 students have arrived and are studying courses at Central Institute, Challenger Institute and Polytechnic West. These courses include English, Mechanical Engineering, Process Plant Technology, Horticulture, Marine Hatchery Management, Hospitality and Marine Tourism.
ETI and the TAFE colleges would like to extend a warm welcome to these students who are a delightful group of ambassadors from their country. We are looking forward to welcoming the next group scheduled to arrive in July.
