Electrical Drafting (Certificate III & Diploma)

This course provides training to technician or detail drafter level in electrical engineering, and aims to develop in graduates the ability to carry out electrical engineering detail drafting and design; have a background understanding of industrial electrical and electronic techniques and procedures in order to engage in work which is analytical; develop a broad understanding of the application of engineering principles, materials, systems, standards and processes.

General Entry Requirements and Pre-requisites

Entry into the Certificate III requires the equivalent of Australian Year 10 with passes in English and Maths.

For Yr 10-11 and Yr 12 academic equivalence, please refer to the Entry Requirements Summary (PDF) for your relevant country. This also details the normal English proficiency standard needed.


Career Outcomes

Graduates can gain work as a technician or detail drafter in the Electrical Engineering Industry.
