This qualification will immerse you in the world of film and television. You will network with professionals and learn about all aspects of creating a production for screen. This qualification provides you with the practical skills you need to work in the production and post production of film and television. You will develop skills in camera operation, lighting, audio production, scriptwriting and producing. You will learn to be part of a team producing music videos, short films and documentaries. In Year 3 you will have the opportunity to major in one of the following specialist streams: directing, camera, editing, production design, sound or producing.
Admission Requirements
To gain admission to this qualification you need to meet the minimum entry requirement equivalent to Australian Year 12. Refer to the admission requirements for your country. You are also required to submit a folio for entry into this qualification. Please see the course guide for more information regarding the submission of folios.
