Students learn skills in drafting, design process methods and presentation techniques, computer design and 3D construction. They also learn about various materials including plastics, metal and timbers.

The Diploma further develops the practical skills and knowledge to design and develop commercial, medical and industrial products. They also learn about design and cultures, presentation, materials and computer aided design (CAD). Students will practice their skills in a workshop environment.

The Advanced Diploma provides the practical skills and knowledge to create and produce individual industrial designs to a professional standard.
